Pumps

Self-priming centrifugal pumps with an integral strainer basket, made at our factory in Badr City. SuperStar pumps suit residential pools and spas; HyperFlow pumps serve larger and commercial pools. Both ranges run from 0.75 to 2.2 kW (1 to 3 HP), single-phase or three-phase, and every pump page shows its performance curve.

Pumps — frequently asked questions

Which pump size do I need for my pool?

Start from turnover: the whole pool volume should pass through the filter in about 8 hours for a residential pool, 6 hours for a commercial pool and 4 hours for a competition pool. Divide the volume in m³ by that time to get the flow in m³/h, then pick the pump whose curve delivers that flow at your system head — and never above the filter's rated flow. Waterstar pumps run from 0.75 kW (1 HP) to 2.2 kW (3 HP). The pool calculator on this site does the arithmetic.

What is the difference between the SuperStar and HyperFlow pumps?

Both are self-priming centrifugal pumps with an integral strainer basket, Class F insulation, IP55 protection and a 2-year warranty. The SuperStar has 2" inlet and outlet ports for larger pipework and higher flows; the HyperFlow uses 1.5" ports in a more compact body suited to residential pools and spa circulation. Each is offered in 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 HP.

Single-phase or three-phase?

The 1, 1.5 and 2 HP models run on 220–240 V single phase, 50 Hz (60 Hz on request). The 3 HP models (SS-300T and HF-300T) are three-phase 220/380 V, which suits hotel, club and semi-commercial plant rooms where a three-phase supply is available.

Can the pump be installed above the water level?

Yes — the pumps are self-priming. Keep the suction run short, fit a check valve on the suction line so the pump stays primed after a stop, and install the pump under cover with ventilation: IP55 protects against splashing and dust, not submersion. Empty the strainer basket weekly in season.
