Air Controller
Air Controller
Adjustable 3/4" air controller for spa and jacuzzi pools, used to set the air rate drawn into the hydro-massage jets. Includes body, plastic nut and adjustable air regulator. It sits in the spa surround above the water line on the air line feeding the jets; turning the cap opens or closes the air path, from a soft flow to a vigorous bubbling massage. Fit one controller per group of jets so each seat can be adjusted separately, and mount it high enough that water cannot siphon back into the air line.

Spa Fittings — frequently asked questions
How does the water/air jet mixer work?
Pressurised water from the spa pump passes through the venturi in the WAJ mixer, draws air in from the air line and delivers the aerated stream to the jet nozzle for the hydro-massage effect. One mixer is cast into the spa wall behind each jet position, solvent-welded to 1.5" pipe.
What does the air controller do?
The AC air controller sits on the deck at the head of the air line and lets the bather set how much air the venturis draw — from a soft stream to a strong bubbling massage — without touching the pump. The APB-1 air push button switches the spa pump on and off pneumatically, so there is no electrical switch near the water.
How are the jet nozzles adjusted?
The JN-1 directional flow ball fits inside the 1.5" pipe and turns to aim the aerated stream at the bather's back, shoulders or feet, so each seat can be tuned after the spa is filled. Screw the nozzles in after the tile finish is complete and set all nozzles on one pump to similar angles so the jets deliver evenly.
