Where are Waterstar products made?
At our own factory in the Badr City Industrial Zone, Cairo. Injection moulding, filament winding, assembly and pressure testing are done in-house under an ISO 9001 certified quality system.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices on this store exclude VAT. 14% VAT is added at checkout, on the goods and on the delivery charge.
How do I pay?
Choose cash on delivery and pay the courier when your order arrives, or pay by bank transfer; our team sends the transfer details after you order.
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
We deliver to every governorate in Egypt. The charge depends on your governorate and is shown at checkout; standard delivery is free on orders of EGP 25,000 or more in Cairo and Giza, except for large items. Each product page shows its dispatch time. See the shipping policy for the full rates.
Is filter sand included with a sand filter?
No. Filters are delivered empty and the media is ordered separately. The filter media guide lists the quantity for every filter.
How do I choose the right pump?
Work out the flow from the pool volume and the turnover time: residential pools are usually designed for one full turnover every 6 to 8 hours, commercial and hotel pools faster. Divide the volume in m³ by the turnover hours to get the flow in m³/h, then pick a pump whose performance curve delivers that flow at the total head of your pipework and filter. Each pump page shows its curve, and our engineers can size it for you.
Top-mount or side-mount filter?
A top-mount filter has the multiport valve on the lid; it is compact and is the usual choice for residential pools (500 to 1050 mm). A side-mount filter has the valve on the side, so the lid can be opened to change media without disturbing the pipework; it is built for higher flows on commercial, hotel and competition pools (1200 to 2000 mm).
What do the underwater lights need?
Waterstar underwater LED lights run on 12 V AC low voltage and must be fed from a safety isolating transformer installed in a dry place, never connected directly to the mains. The transformer rating should be at least the total wattage of the lights connected to it, with a margin; our team will confirm the right transformer for your number of lights and cable run.
Can you supply all the equipment for a new pool?
Yes. We make the full range, so one order can cover the whole pool. Send your pool drawings or sizes to sales@waterstar.com.eg and our engineers will return an equipment list with pump and filter sizing.
What warranty do the products carry?
From 6 months on wear parts to 2 years on pumps, filters, fittings, gratings, lights and transformers. See the warranty page for the full terms and how to claim.
Can I return a product?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery if it is unused and in its original packaging. See the return and refund policy.
Do you sell spare parts?
Yes. Every component we make is available as a spare part. Contact sales@waterstar.com.eg with the product code and the part you need.
