Concrete · Inch pipe Ref. FI-1
Floor inlet (return inlet), ABS, with adjustable flow. 2" outside thread, connecting to a 1.5" solvent-weld pipe. Floor inlets return filtered water from the bottom of the pool, giving better mixing of chemicals and heat than wall returns alone and pushing settled dust toward the main drain. The adjustable insert lets each inlet be balanced so the far inlets deliver as much as the near ones. Set the body flush with the floor finish before tiling; one inlet per 10–15 m² of floor is a practical rule for hotel and villa pools.

Floor inlet (return inlet), ABS, with adjustable flow. 2" outside thread, connecting to a 50 mm metric solvent-weld pipe. ABS floor inlet (Hydrostorm) with adjustable flow, welded inside a 63 mm PVC pipe. Floor inlets return filtered water from the bottom of the pool, which gives better mixing and sanitizer distribution than wall returns alone and helps push debris toward the main drain. The adjustable nozzle lets the installer balance flow between inlets; the flush face is safe to walk on.
Liner · 50 mm Ref. FI-2-L
ABS floor inlet for liner (vinyl) pools with adjustable flow, for a 50 mm weld pipe. The flanged body and gasket clamp the liner between two faces so the return stays watertight, while the adjustable nozzle lets the installer balance flow between inlets. Floor returns improve mixing and sanitizer distribution and help move debris toward the main drain.

Pool Fittings — frequently asked questions
Concrete or liner fittings?
Concrete versions are solvent-cemented into the pipe and cast into the shell — wall inlets on 50 mm pipe, floor inlets and vacuum points on 63 mm. Liner versions (the -L models) add a flange and lock nut that clamp the membrane from both sides. Order the right variant before the shell is poured: a fitting cannot be swapped after casting.
How many wall inlets does a pool need?
Enough to return the full filtered flow at a gentle velocity and to sweep the whole pool — as a rule one inlet per return branch, placed to push water across the pool towards the skimmers, with floor inlets added on deep or long pools so circulation reaches the bottom. Our engineers set the count from your pool drawing.
What is a vacuum point?
A dedicated suction connection in the pool wall for the manual vacuum hose, so the pool can be vacuumed without going through the skimmer basket. It connects to the suction pipework with its own valve in the plant room; close it when not in use.
What material are the fittings?
ABS treated against pool chemicals and UV, supplied with gaskets and stainless steel screws. The material does not corrode, chalk or crack in chlorinated water and sun, which is why it can be buried in the shell for the life of the pool.
